Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon is a huge canyon or gorge formed along the Colorado river and spread around 277 miles in length in the state of Arizona. It has layered red rocks and makes for stunning views. It is a protected National Park and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites declared in 1979. The Grand Canyon has two public areas, the North and South Rims, and is visited by millions of tourists from around the world. The photos are from 2004-2006.
