Bengaluru and Lepakshi Trip
My elder son got admited to a college in Bengaluru and decided to drop him in the cat. It was a long pending family trip as we have not been to any trip for some time and the day has come finally. Hyderabad to Bengaluru and Lepakshi Road trip. We decided to visit a few places en-route.
Day Itinerary of Bengaluru Trip, Lepakshi and Chikkaballapur Adi Yogi statue:
Day 1. Hyderabad to Wanaparthy Ranganayaka Swamy temple, Beechupally Hanuman temple, Lepakshi to Bengaluru
Day 2. Visit to college and Mall of Asia in Bengaluru
Day 3. Visit to college and Mall of Asia in Bengaluru
Day 4. Bengaluru local site seeing
Day 5. Bengaluru to BoghaNandisvara temple to Chikkaballapur Adi Yogi Statue to Hyderabad
Day 1: Started off to Bengaluru Trip on Saturday morning around 7.30 am from Hitech City in Hyderabad and on the way visited Ranganayaka temple at Wanaparthy, Beechupally Hanuman temple and finally Lepakshi in Andhra Pradesh. Had a 30 mins stop for breakfast at Jadcherla around 9 am and then reached Ranganayaka temple around 11 am. Spent around 30 mins there and visited Beechupally Hanuman temple from there which is on the way to Bengaluru. Had a 45 mins break for lunch around 1.40 pm at some place after Kurnool. Had a halt at the big KIA cars manufacturing unit near Ananthapur, took some photos and started to Lepakshi. Reached Lepakshi around 5.15 pm and spent around 1 hour there. It was ancient temple and has a pillar which does not touch the ground. From there reached the Hotel in Bengaluru around 9.30 pm. Got fresh and ordered some dinner in the room itself.



Day 2: My elder son had admission in the hostel today and visited the College campus, got the admission formalities done and returned to the room. Visited Mall of Asia in the evening along with my wife’s cousin who lives in Bengaluru and visited us.

Day 3:Today was the orientation day and visited the college early in the morning. After the orientation session, dropped him in the hostel room and went to Mall of Asia again to meet a friend after a long time. He also lives in Bengaluru.

Day 4: Went for some local site seeing in Bengaluru. First went to Aquarium Paradise, from there to Bengaluru Palace which is a museum, from there to Tippu Palace and then to Lalbagh botanical gardens. Returned to the hotel around 8 pm and visited the hostel again to say Good bye.






Day 5: Drive from Bengaluru to Hyderabad – Visited Bogha Nandeesvara temple and Adi Yogi statue at Chikkaballapur on the way to Hyderabad. Had lunch at Ananthapur and reached Hyderabad around 9 pm. All in all good road trip after a long time.
