Ardhanareeswara Temple, Kondapur

Ardhanareeswara Temple, Kondapur also called Om Sri ShivShakthi Ardhanareeswara Devalayam, is located in Kondapur area of Hyderabad on the Hitex road from Kondapur in the midst of huge buildings. It is a relatively new temple constructed by Smt. Madhulatha and Sri Mahipal Yadav inaugurated on 11th Feb, 2022. There is also a temple of Sri Hemalambha Renuka Yellamma Thalli(Chinamma) in the same premises for which the deity prana pratishta happened on 1st July, 2021. This is one of the rare temples with idol of Ardhanareeswara(Half Siva and Half Parvathi) and it is quite big around 10 feet.

There are also idols of Siva and Parvathi in sitting posture in front of a Trident(Trisulam) just next to the main temple. The temple is made of blackstone and idols are mostly black in colour which is again quite rare. The art work on the walls of the temples is quite colourful. Behind the Yellammma temple, there are sculptures of Katyayani, Skandamata and Kushmanda seated on lions.

There is ample some parking space near the temple for 4 and 2 wheelers. It is located on the Aditya Sunshine lane, Hanuman Nagar, Shilpa Hills, Kothaguda, Hyderabad. 500084

Temple timings : The temple is open from 6 am to 1 pm and from 5.30 pm to 9 pm every day.
