Hare Krishna Golden Temple
Hare Krishna Golden Temple also called Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Kshetram is located in Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad. It is dedicated to Lord Narasimha Swamy and the idol is quite old, believed to be around 1000 years old and the current temple was built around it. ISCON group took up the construction of temple in the year 2013 and completed in 2017. This temple is located on a hillock and was originally supposed to be around 450 acres but now restricted to 6 acres. It also has idols of Krishna and Radha, Pachajanyeswara Siva Linga(which is quite small) alongwith idol of Ganesha and there is a separate Sri Chaturbhuja Japa Anjaneya Swamy temple in the same premises.
There is a Gaushala at the entrance and also a lawn area which is well maintained. The main garbha gruham of Narasimha Swamy has a Golden plate and the rest is new. There is a way for senior citizens to directly come to the temple also and avoid the stairs as it is on a hillock. It is located just next to the Anti Corruption Bureau office in Banjara Hills. There is ample parking space available for 4 wheelers as well as 2 wheelers.
Temple Timings: 7.15 am to 12.15 pm in the morning and 5.15 pm to 8.15 pm in the evening.
