Shri Jagannath Temple, Banjara Hills

Shri Jagannath Temple is located on Road number 12 of Banjara Hills in Hyderabad just next to the BRS bhavan and the newly constructed integrated Command Control center. It is dedicated to Lord Jagannath(form of Krishna) along with Subhadra and Balaram or Balabhadra and is a replica of the Puri Jagannath temple in Odisha. The main temple has wooden idols of Lord Jagannadh, Subhadra and Balabhadra. It was built by the Kalinga Cultural trust in Hyderabad and was opened to public in March 2009. The architecture is magnificent and made of sandstone spread across 10.7 acres of land. The height of the temple is 72 ft compared to the Puri temple which is 214 ft.

It also has 5 other temples of Ganesha, Siva, Maa Lakshmi, Maa Vimala and Hanuman. Also mandapa for Navagrahas.
