Shri Jagannath Temple, IDA Bollaram

Shri Jagannath Temple, IDA Bollaram is located in YSR Colony, IDA Bollaram, Hyderabad near ORR exit 4. It is dedicated to Lord Jagannath(form of Krishna) along with Subhadra and Balaram or Balabhadra and is a replica of the Puri Jagannath temple in Odisha. The main temple has wooden idols of Lord Jagannadh, Subhadra and Balabhadra and was inaugurated in November 2018. Similar to the Puri Jagannath temple, it has Aruna Stambha at the main entrance and then 22 stairs after climbing which we have Garuda Stambha in front of the main temple. Then there is the Jaga Mohan Temple, followed by Bhoga Mandap and the main temple with the idols of Shri Jagannatha, Shri Balabhadra, Devi Shubhadra and Sudarshan Chakra. The other small temples for Lord Ganesha, Hanuman, Siva, Maa Lakshmi and Maa Vimala Devi around the main temple are under construction. There are small temples with idols of Vamana, Narasimha swamy and Varaha Swamy around the main temple walls.

The architecture is magnificent and very colourful. Mahaprasad is served everyday and the devotees can take it for their family members as well. There is a small kitchen behind the main temple to prepare the Mahaprasad which is served to the devotees. There is a small place with the 3 idols just next to main entrance to offer coconuts and light diyas. It is maintained by Sri Jagannath Uttkal Samskruthi Sangham,

There is some parking space available for 4 wheelers as well as 2 wheelers.

Temple Timings: 6.00 am to 1.00 pm and 4.30 pm to 9.00 pm daily

Sandhya Aarati every day at sunset. Bhog is offered twice daily at 12:30 PM and at 8:00 PM.
