Sri Datta Avadhoota Temple

Sri Datta Avadhoota Temple, also called Sri Dattaavadhoota Dattatreya Kshetram also has Sri Marakata Karya Siddhi Anjaneya Swamy Temple and Sri Pathala Panchamukha Anjaneya Swamy temple is located in Dundigal on the outskirts of Hyderabad. It is one of the 16 Datta Shrines also called Shodasha Datta Kshetras representing the sixteen manifestations of Sri Dattaatreya Swamy in different parts of India consecrated by Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Mysore. The consecration and Mahakumbhabhishekam of the new Temple complex was performed on 15th April, 2024 by by Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji.

The temple complex has small temples of Lord Trimukha Ganapathy, Sri Manikya Nageswara Swamy, Lord Dattaavadhoota Dattatreya, Goddess Raja Rajeswari Devi, Sri Marakata Karya Siddhi Hanuman, Sri Patala Panchamukha Anjaneya Swamy, Sri Sesha Nagendra Swamy and Navagrahas. Sri Patala Panchamukha Anjaneya Swamy temple is in a basement and one of it’s kind. There is a huge prayer hall for gatherings and prayers and also huge idols of Ganesha, Sri Dattatreya Swamy and Hanuman at the entrance.

As soon as one enters the temple premises, there is an idol of Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji with Sri Dattatreya Swamy idol in the background. There is ample parking near the temple for 2 and 4 wheelers. It is located next to the ORR exit 5 in Dundigal and near the Air Force Academy and Sri Sundara Chaitanya Swamy Ashram.

Temple timings : 7 am to 12.30 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm every day.
