Catalina Island

Santa Catalina Island or Catalina Island is an island in the Pacific Ocean in Southern California near Los Angeles. It covers an area of around 75 square miles and it has diverse landscape including hills, sandy beaches, canyons, etc. It was developed into a tourist destination in the 1920s. Avalon is the largest inhabited city and almost 90% of the island’s population live here. One can roam around in a golf cart. The photos are from 2004-2006.
